Bubble Gum Brigade Popping With Success

Antonio Sandoval, candidate for New Mexico House 29, has volunteered with the Bubble Gum Brigade since last February's General Obligation Bond. Antonio's dedication to schools on the Westside is evident through his commitment to the Bubble Gum Brigade.

As a result of the Bubble Gum Brigades efforts, the $391 million General Obligation Bond on September 19th was passed, which will help build new schools on the Westside. Antonio will continue to show his dedication to the schools and the quality of education that our children receive. Let's make sure we have a voice in Santa Fe that champions the needs of the growing Westside and someone who puts our children first.

Ground Breaking for the New Northwest High School

Thursday, 14 September 2006- During a late morning ceremony at the site of the new Northwest High School, many gathered to witness the ground breaking of the city's first high school in over twenty years.

Those in attendance were joyous that action is being taken, but were still aware that much work still needs to be done in regards to our school system. Cheryl Jorgensen, an active parent and member of the Bubble Gum Brigade was shocked to have not seen Antonio's opponent for the State House present at the ceremony. Many folks were disappointed and commented on the lack of responsiveness from their elected official on an issue as important as the construction of new schools.
